The first jigsaw puzzle was produced around 1760 by John Spilsbury, a London engraver and mapmaker. Spilsbury mounted one of his maps on a sheet of hardwood and cut around the borders of the countries using a fine-bladed marquetry saw. Handcast in solid, lead-free pewter and then dipped in gold, each of our pins is an original three dimensional sculpture signed by the artist, Jim Clift. Individually packaged on one of our signature presentation cards, our pins arrive ready for gift giving! Handcrafted in our studio in Coventry, RI, our pins are 100% US made.
